My Childhood Dream

Today I taught English at a preschool here in town. This is the only class that I am still teaching on a weekly basis. I love working with kids. Especially preschoolers. When I am in a classroom teaching it is like this other much more extraverted person comes out of me. I have so much fun! It seems like we will have only been there a few minutes when I look up to see that our time is almost gone. For me teaching is a dream come true. When I was a little girl I would make my sister be the student and I was always the teacher. Teaching the lesson, reading stories, grading papers. Even now when I stand up there I feel that little girl coming out of me giddy and excited to be the teacher, loving every minute of it.
